HOW IT STARTED – ZERO OMISSION, The Genisis
I (Ray Sage) was playing in bars for a long time doing covers, the usual thing as a oneman show but I wanted to get a band up a running. I didn’t want to do the covers thing again, I was a bit burnt out from that. I started going to the 3 Songs night in the White House Bar in Limerick and developed my own material further. Put the word out that I was interested in forming a band. I met George and a few other motley members of a potential band, they wanted covers and so I bawked at that. Jimmy4Reale the drummer rang me some weeks later and said he & george would give the originals a twist if I was willing and as they say the rest is history.

His influence you’ll have to ask him yourself but I think he’s going to see ‘Pink’ what can I say.

This was another great gig for us we were following in the footsteps of some great act playing at this venue ‘Loudest Whisper’ and ‘Sinnerboy’ to mention a few. Two of the videos we have up are from this night in CHiefs.
