This is about people being too caught up in their own lives/world to even think of anyone else. The cult of the individual is what this generation has been fed my media and the world at large to the point of self obsession. This song is about this and the chorus is the consequence for this type of thinking.

Love song about lack of understanding between lovers: Women from Venus, Men from Mars type song. Basically about lack of communication between lovers and the feelings that accompany things going pear shaped in a relationship.

This is a celebration of the end of the Catholic Church in this country, we (all of us) allowed this institution to rule our lives through their morality and subject us and our children to horrendous abuse, we have finally seen them for what they are and like the Wizard of Oz they are nothing other than some old mad men turning tricks behind a curtain.

Song written after seing RTE documentary on the extent of Paedophile activity in our country and the idea that this is just evil and there has to be a day of reckoning for such child abusers.

Song about sad unnecessary loss of a young man’s life in a one off violent dispute.

Let Yourself Go

This is a lighter song but is inspired by Eckhart Tolle’s idea of living in the now and in the moment. The past is what it is ‘the past’ there is nothing we can do about that, the future nobody controls so all we have got is ‘now’ (Let yourself go).

Paper

This song grew and was written during the current meltdown in our economy, everyone loosing money and bank loosing value, but this was all just figures on paper, some people committed suicide for figures on paper, we evaluate our lives at the end of education by award which are just pieces of paper. Our lives are not pieces of paper this song is about that.
